R. N. Pasricha (born 1926)
Pasricha is an eminent artist and a devout traveller and painter
of the HImalayas, who is in love with the Himalayas to the point
of devotion. His favorite medium is water colors, and he carries
his paints, papers and brushes with him to high altitudes ranging
between 10,000 to 20,500 ft. to make on-the-spot studies, which
he later develops into paintings in his studio. The Government of
India had granted him a senior fellowship to work on his
favourite theme and he has taught landscape painting at the College
of Arts, Delhi University.
